History
Fralia Co. and Associates is an electronic manufacturer's representative
company focused on providing "Best in Class" technical sales
and applications support in the Southwest territory of Texas, Oklahoma,
Louisiana and Arkansas. True to our beginning in 1959, Fralia Co. continues
to represent manufacturers of electronic components and system solutions
targeted at the industrial, military, telecom, geophysical and computer
industries. Our principals are seldom the low price leaders, but we have
been able to leverage the strength of our technical sales skills, customer
relationships and the value and quality represented by our principals
to successfully increase business. Our success over the last 47 years
can be largely attributed to our greatest asset, our people.
Market Demands and Our Sales
Strategy
Today's market conditions demand a professional sales organization with
the energy and resources to address the issues that define success. Large
OEMs no longer operate alone in the world of outsourcing, off-shore manufacturing,
global corporate contracts, distributor JIT programs, CEM controlled BOMs
and ODM designs. The world economy has opened these services to all customers.
At the same time, customer and principal employee turnover is high and
the need for a stable and qualified sales force has never been more important.
Fralia Co. is one of the few rep companies that navigated through the
Telecom Bust of 2001-2003 in good financial condition and with a complete
sales staff. Our line card includes industry leaders of active, passive
and interconnect products which insures a balanced product offering to
our broad customer base. Our position in the market is strong and the
company is poised for growth despite outsourcing and other market obstacles.
What Makes Fralia Co. the Best
Our field sales staff combines experience, industry knowledge and hard
work to support their customers. Our inside sales staff is the best in
the business and they work closely with our customers and principals on
all sales and customer service issues. Fralia Co. has a dedicated applications
engineer and in today's market of limited engineering resources (both
at customers and principals), this approach has proven to be very successful.
Our job is simply to create demand for our principals and offer real technical
solutions to our customers. We manage the process by working with our
principals to create "focus account" plans and objectives. Our
salespeople support all channels including CEMs while making weekly visits
to our distributor partners. And, we offer timely and meaningful reports
to our principals for leads, samples, quotes and opportunities to insure
territory growth. In summary, the Fralia Co. is a professional sales group
